Park and Museum

One of the oldest parks in the community, City Park is located in the east-central part of Manhattan, close to downtown and Aggieville and directly across the street from City Hall. Although the park is managed for high-volume use, it provides ample space for quiet conversation and picnics throughout its 45 acres. A large outdoor stage in the northeast section of the park hosts Arts in the Park, a nationally recognized summer outdoor entertainment series. Several ball fields, a rose garden, tennis courts with lights, an outdoor basketball court, a mile-long perimeter multi-use trail, a playground, a splash park, and an aquatic center make City Park a place that offers something for everyone.
